1958 Vauxhall Other velox / cresta

• A very Rare 3 back window PA vauxhall , travelled only 29,805 miles (This model is known as the Holy Grail of vauxhalls) There are very few survivors of this very rare model ,as most were distroyed by rust caused by the salt on british road. Records show a genuine very low milage of 29805 and low ownership with 2 long term owners ,first owner over 50 +yrs and 2nd short term and the 3rd 14 yrs, prior to my purchase. Registered as a velox and fitted with the cresta extras sometime after 1988.

Around 2010 it had mechanical reco and baremetal thin paint coat,reg and wof for the road. Between 2018 & 2023 ( as owner getting old ) 2024 prior to my purchase it was again made roadworthy, with new front shocks,new water pump, battery etc. I later reco the radiator, and the carby,fitted new tyres , a full service, and repaint, white walls,mirrors,spotlights and upgrade of the troublesome petrol filler /waterdrain pipe system )

The P.A.vauxhall ( known at the time as the TeddyBoy Car ) now gets lots of great comments on its stunning looks. Its heritage of being (American,British ,Australian ,NZ and a Famous Race Winner) will fit with most car collections, as the P.A. was designed by Chev USA for british roads, manufactured in england by vauxhall,CND ( completely knocked down ) reassembled by holden for australia and CND cars by GM Petone for nz cars In 1960 a PA vauxhall velox won the First Armstrong 500 race ( later call the Bathurst 500 )

Now 68 yrs old,it drives well ,without a fault or a rattle.

Im over 80 yrs old and sadly must now pass it on to another lucky new owner ,who will never regret the day they bought this unique rare brittish classic .
