Hi there, just checking, why hasn't the camshaft sensor been replaced? Often this code can be related to timing chain issues, so best not to drive the car until fixed. Cheers larzyy (45 • 7:12 pm, Tue, 6 JanI need to touch base with the Volkswagen mechanic when he is back from holiday. Not 100% sure it is the sensor. The mechanic said that it is driveable and not bad for it at the moment. The reason it isn't done is because when you'd do it, you would do the cambelt as well. Big job for the owner to do when they have already bought another car. So, car is safe to drive.
