2014 Black VW Golf R for sale!

Purchased May 2021 from a dealer who imported it from Japan to Wellington at 78,950 kms. This has since been my daily driver mainly on weekdays from the Northern Suburbs into my office in town (a covered car park)

Engine has performed superbly and has suffered from no mechanical or electrical failures.

Maintenance has been within (and sometimes pre-emptively more than) the recommended timeframes at Wellington European on King Street in Wellington City. I like to get oil and filters changed often. Full history is available by email.

New WOF this month, no issues. New wipers.

Has had a ceramic coating from Wrap Innovations 4 years ago. You'll also note the teal accents by Wrap Innovations -- feel free to keep or remove these but it does add a nice flair to the black.

Leather seats are all in great condition except for a small fraying on the window side of the driver's seat. Easy repair but I haven't gotten round to organising it.

Paintwork is in good condition for its age.

Rims are in excellent condition with no curbing.

I have only run this car with 98 Octane and I would recommend you do the same.

If you've never owned an R, you're in for a treat. These are phenomenal cars and the Mk 7 is my favourite. I've since upsized but I'll miss it for sure.

Whilst this has been predominantly used as a 'to the office' car -- it is an excellent car for a small family. Insanely safe, isofix, roomy in the back and with a suprising amount of boot space.

Tyres are Michelin Pilot Sport 5's and are in great nick.

• Bluetooth audio

This vehicle does not have Apple Car Play or Android Auto natively, but an upgrade is available. I just always used my phone on the (included) mount.

• Only a high end battery for now removed aftermarket sound system

I have not remapped the ECU, but it's ready and willing if you want to take that route.
