1987 Volkswagen Kombi Gl
Background check
Description
This 1987 Volkswagen kombi GL van is a classic with plenty of character. imported to New Zealand, I'm the second kiwi owner of this iconic vehicle. The 2.1-litre petrol engine runs well and is in good working order. This kombi uses less fuel than you might expect for its size, making it practical for regular use. The spacious interior offers plenty of room for passengers (up to 7) or 5 wirh cabinets in) and cargo. Has racks inside to place your Surf Board. It's an easy LHD, vehicle for both around town and in the country. Sleeps two which makes it suitable as a getaway commuter for fishing, camping, skiing or tramping or whatever your favorite hobby might be. An investment while you drive this classic around with a vintage status. The controls are straight forward and it handles well. Features: - 2.1-litre petrol engine - imported vehicle original owner being the importer - spacious interior with flexible space - economical on fuel - good mechanical condition, has new WOF and Rego. Food tyres if you've been looking for a classic VW Kombi that's practical enough for everyday use, this could be the one for you. Has had many preventative work carried out and cosmetic replacement such as step rubber pads, new front blinker lens, new wing mirrors glass, cv boots all 4x, tappet cover gaskets, new gearshift linkage front to rear, full service carried out just to name a few to bring it up to a serviceable maintenance free running vehicle. It was good before but much better now. Put your special taste to it and add some graphics as shown in one pic. Front and rear bumper corners I have but not yet fitted. The first nz owner was the importer who owned and used the vehicle in California. The extra 2x seat is also available ex Christchurch Offers considered maybe even a trade considered
