1995 VW Polo V8

Powered by a 2004 Audi S4 4.2 V8 rated at 340Hp

This is a long term project. I bought it a few years ago with the v8 fitted and certified It looks simple but has taken 100's of hours and tens of thousands of dollars. Engine is from a 2004 Audi S4 V8 40 valve ,Variable cam timing ,variable intake runners. Gearbox is from a VW Golf VR6 5 Speed TDI with a OBX LSD with a long fifth gear and the hard to get 3.1 final drive ratio, that means 2100 rpm = 100Kph.
Custom made Flywheel. Running MS2 Megasquirt computer. Adjustable suspension. Running 3 radiators. 4 pot brakes with drilled disc on front, standard disc on the rear. Power Steering. Alloy wheels with Goodyear F1 tyres. Battery in the boot. Standard interior in reasonable shape. Exterior is scruffy but fits in with the sleeper look. On the dyno produced 291hp at the front wheels with enormous Torque in any gear. Very fun to drive. Certified , Weight is around 1080 Kg

There has been many refinements to tame the raw power to a useable and enjoyable road car. My tuner recommends a heaver flywheel to smooth out the idle and a smaller throttle body for low speed tractability. I fitted a heaver flywheel , but would benefit from being a bit heaver to smooth out the idle. Also changed the throttle body from 81mm to 65mm. Its still a handfull to drive but has amazing performance of the motor way. For those brave enough you could install the lightened flywheel and fit the big 81mm throttle body , That would give you amazing performance. Comes with 2 spare gearbox's one with 3.1 final drive to suit the V8 power. Plus comes with the 81mm Throttle body.

And note because the Polo is so insane it is sold without warranty or liability of any kind Tha purchaser must acknowledge that it is stricty "as is were is"
