2015 Volkswagen Passat Tdi 176Kw 4M Rl

I’m selling my 2015 VW Passat 2.0 Bi Turbo 176kw on an AS IS WERE IS BASIS

I have owned this car for about 2.5 years, it really is a great car, a safe/spacious family vehicle with a little bit of power when you need it. I have really enjoyed owning this VW, I just don’t have the funds available to give it the love it needs.

I have started with what I think as a fair reserve, as the car is in need of some work, but with work carried out would still be a cheap buy. I am by no means a mechanic, and these are the issues I know of, again the car drives well, still getting very close to 1000km out of a tank of diesel, no overheating no sinks of any major issues other than what’s stated.

The cons are as follows

It’s showing a Haldex pump fault so the 4motion isn’t working. I have had the pump out if was pretty clogged up, it’s been given a good clean and replaced with new rings and oil, but still showing fault.

The W.O.F has expired, it has never failed since I’ve owned it, I havnt taken to get a wof as I just don’t have the time, the only thing that I can see it needs is 2x front tyres.

The mib2 unit has a no sound issue, everything else works Nav and so on, I just can’t get sound through any speakers, this could be a coding issue not sure, or there is a company on trade me that fix for about $300.

The bonnet strut needs replacing

The RUCS have lapsed at 146000 the car has done 150500

The right hand side headlight washer has a slow leak, I havnt looked into this too much but it wouldn’t be a hard fix.

Overall the car is in great condition, drives extremely well, no oil leaks no other problems that I am aware of, stills drives great, inside is 9 out 10 outside has one reasonable scratch on the tail gate, rest of the outside is comparable with age and mileage, no dents, but a few stone chips, any minor scratches

FYI there is a security interest on the car, upon payment this will be settled.

Again I’m no mechanic, but will answer any questions open and honestly.
