The VW Scirocco was reborn in 2009 as part of a revival of some classic 80's hot hatches. This thing definitely ticks that box with a 0-100 time of 7.1 seconds, where it spends about 4 of those trying to get to 20kmph. What this means is that if you're up against a Porsche in a rolling start, you might just win. With its DSG dual clutch, the car is easily able to shift down or up gears by preloading the next one, making cutting across 8 lanes easier than ever. It shares an engine with the Golf GTI VI, so the engine notes will be the same. It's such a fun car to drive, and I'm sure you will love it.
The car was bought new by us and registered in 2010. Because of this, we know everything that's ever happened to it, but only you know what will happen to it. It has also been regularly serviced each year by proper European service centres, with the last service being in January. The last picture is from 2010 when it was brand new; the rims were professionally coloured black in 2017. Since moving to the South Island I've only ever put 100 Octane fuel in it, and the real world figures are as follows - 7.4l/100km open road, also getting about 9l/100km in the city (for a rocket it is relatively fuel efficient, which is nice in this economy). This car was fully specced when custom-ordered, with the only unchecked box being the ridiculously priced leather seats.
Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or if you'd like to make an offer.
