Unfortunately I would not recommend Sterling cars to my friends/family for the following reasons.
We gave a week for the car to be registered, have wheels aligned/balanced, WOF, removal of navigation device on the front dashboard, grooming and metal trim fitted to front bonnet. We were advised that half way through the week we would be updated to progress and assured that the car would be ready by the Saturday. We viewed the car and paid a deposit the Friday before. No update came so we contacted the dealer on the Thursday only to be informed that they were waiting on the trim.Nothing else had been completed on the car.No further update from the dealer till the following week at which time the metal trim[which had been ordered the previous week and on overnight courier] still had not arrived???.Also advised that WOF and wheel alignment had been completed but that was all.We were advised that the car would be finally delivered on the Thursday but by 3.30pm we had still not heard anything so we contacted the dealer who was off sick and had to arrange another person to deliver the car.I’m not confident that had if we had not made contact the car would have been delivered as promised 5 days later than the original agreement.A lack of communication and accuracy from the dealer has negatively impacted our views on Sterling cars.
