Ducati Supersport 91-95 carbon fibre side fairing set of two

Brand new semi finished Carbon/Diolen main fairing set made by SRM Performance Products Ltd. These are manufactured from 4 x layers of 200gsm plain weave 3k carbon, 2 layers of 200gsm twill Diolen and the latest toughened epoxy resin. Extra carbon and Diolen has been strategically placed around the mounting points, outer edges, vents and parts that generally get damaged if the bike falls over. Specific attention has been placed with the Diolen around the edges and all mounting points to stop any potential issues of the fairing splitting if the bike falls over. Diolen is a low temp alternative to Kevlar but can be easily machined/drilled the same as carbon. Fairings are supplied unpainted and semi finished in that they have been trimmed, filled and sanded (#400grit) ready for painting. All mounting holes have been drilled as per the original. Finished weight is approx. 1.3kg per fairing (original fairing is 2.6kg). Inside surface is finished to a peel ply surface finish which is ready for secondary bonding or painting without further work required. The later model fairings with the additional cooling vent are currently under construction and will be available for the same price latter in the year dependent on demand. Also coming soon will be Composite fuel tanks, rear huggers, front guards, top fairing, rear side fairings and cooling ducts.
