Ever see the guy that loads up his dirt bike in the back of his truck, then secures the bike with motorbike tie downs really tight? That's the same guy who probably has leaking front forks. The fork support prevents premature damage to fork springs and seals due to continuous compression while forks are strapped down also stabilisers bike during transportation so your bike won't bounce off tie-downs! Large=11 1/2" long fits most 80cc and large-(measurement between tyre to under front mudguard) Small=8 1/2" long fits most 70cc and small-(measurement between tyre to under front mudguard) There can be a gap when the fork support is fitted between the fork support and front mudguard, when tie downs are compressed this gap will be taken up.
