V8 Altezza Tarmac Rally car, or track car

realistic offer invited

Description

Well known Altezza race car, used mainly in Targa Rally in this configuration. This has Proflex adjustable rallysuspension, so could be set up for gravel, really just needs some gravel rash protection around components underneath. Drive train is Chev LS1, race prepared with very good internals, Trickflow heads etc, cam selected for wide torque band, pulls from 3500-6500. Gearbox is Hollinger 6 speed close ratio dog box- current gearing gives 200kph at 6000 in 6th (Targa speed limit). Diff is Harrop LSD, rear half shafts are 3 litre Lexus. Brakes are Toyota Supra Twin Turbo with competition pads. Suspension is coil over adjustable with superb Proflex shocks. Interior all compliant, all safety gear, ready to run. Spares package includes 8 wheels, including 4 unused Khumo tyres, half shafts, new rotors, plenty of pads, alternator, lots of suspension bits etc. In the last 2 years around $30k of upgrades and overhauls to engine, gearbox and diff- all in great condition. Just finished Targa 2025, ran without a hitch and no maintenance. Won the Peter Hanna Trophy, highest placed V8 overall. Great fun package, safe and balanced to drive (50/50 weight dist), and a younger driver would go a fair bit faster. Best of all, its the greatest sounding car in the current Targa crop.
