Description
Built in 2019, based on Mx5 running gear. Custom tube frame chassis, Fibre glass body, Toyota 4k motor and gearbox. motor fully recondition , strong 3/4 cam grind, and bored 30th over. twin 40 Webber style carbs, Discs are 1600 Mx5, Rear transverse spring replacing tower shocks. Front shocks are Harley Davidson quad bike units mounted via rocker and push rod in the centre. Weighs 420 kg and goes like stink, but really easy to drive. Fully log booked and VCC recognised. The car was built as a tribute replica of Alan Wolfs VOLPINI. So I called it RUSSOLINI. Idealy suited to the Sth island motorsport scene, it's a very popular car, real old school. There is a full set of body moulds that could go with the car. There is also a custom built trailer with an electric winch that could be negotiated. Assistance to the Sth Island would be considered. The entire rig is in very clean tidy condition having had minimal use, hence why it`s time to hang up my gloves and smell the roses. The car is located in Glendowie and is always stored inside.
