BMW 235I Racing
Description
The 235IR was produced by BMW Motorsport between 2013 and 2015 for a 1 make 24Hr endurance series on the Nurburgring.
The attached description by Turner Motorsport in the US covers the car in great detail. Its a great car to race being factory built and solid and has only done 5300Km. I have owned it since 2022 and raced it in the BMW Race Driver Series successfully in its class but have unfortunately had my racing license taken off me for health reasons so am forced to sell it. I will be sad to see it sold.
Its FIA cage is the best built cage I've seen and its fully adjustable suspension is fantastic. It has not been involved in any serious accidents - only damage has been very minor to panels which has been professionally fixed and painted.
The car comes with air jacks and their supports, Air Jack Lance, a spare set of wheels with slicks and another set with Wet tyres and an installed Fire Suppresion system. Spare parts include new front rotors, various brake pads and steering knuckles, spare special transmission fluid, engine oil and brake fluid. Included and fitted to the car is a Solo2 Aim Lap timer. A second seat with full harness belts is in the car if you want to show a passenger how the cars drives.
I absolutely love the ZF 8HP eight speed auto gearbox and paddle change - the car gets off the line really well and its electronic control won't allow you to change down too early and over rev the engine.
The display on the steering wheel amongst other things shows you engine and oil temp and escalating rev lights. The big front brakes with very thick pads make for great stopping power. The car has race tuned steering, traction control and ABS and a Limited Slip Diff, and it corners very flat.
