1966 Lotus 41C Twincam
Description
My Lotus41C was sold new by the USA Lotus agent in 1966. The car was first raced by Gus Hutchison who won the 1967 USA Formula Continental Series in the car. I have a list of the owners prior to me with correspondence and bills of sale to confirm ownership change. I also have the first SCCA logbook issued to the car in 1972. I bought the car in 2003 and completed a back to bare chassis restoration. I have competed the car at most Australian and New Zealand circuits since then with many outright and class wins. The car has a strong dry sumped race engine based on rare AX Kent block. It has a new cast race tuned SAS cylinder head with twin Weber 45s. The transaxle is a Hewland MK 5 with limited slip differential. The package comes with a spare chassis, body and windscreen moulds, and some spares. The car comes with both New Zealand and Australian Certificates of Description and Historic logbooks.
