porsche 914 1972, hillclimb or street sprint project, this has a ej 20 wrx subaru 1997 motor and gearbox fitted, motor has 120,000 ks on it, gearbox ks unsure, 4.44 ratio in gearbox , was a very good body to start with , a small amount of rust removed, steel guards fitted and repainted in its original signal orange,comes with suby loom, motor bolt ons, vf36 turbo toyota mr2 cable shifter spare sti motor that needs work and some914 spares ,no ecu. a fare chunk of the graft done but still finishing to do, , these motors can tune up to 400 hp,sit in exactly the same spot and weigh up to 30 lbs lighter, put that in approx 750 kg, DO THE MATH, for info on these coversions look at coldwater 914 .com or subarugears.com.au or 914world .com, has been on the road in NZ but is dead reg ,was a father and son project but he is gap n it to OZ, for more info on the car best to call the number below ,

Hi Rego on hold ? What does it need done to get it on the road ? Many thanks lcoco73 (846 • 6:32 pm, Sat, 2 Mayhi there the car has been on the road here in NZ between 1996 and 1999 but the reg is dead, it was being built as a coemption car with this engine and gearbox combo but no reason why it couldn't go back on the with type 4 vw motor or a 6 cyl Porsche motor, check my other listing, cheers. tinks50 (194 • Saturday, 2 May 2026
