1999 WRX STi Type R 2 door coupe Road legal track car
I have owned this car for 10 years. Regrettably putting it up for sale due to family commitments. I bought it as a completely standard car. All work has been done under my ownership. Most of the work including full engine build and all supporting race mods, rollcage etc done at Macbilt Engineering in Wellington. Tuning by Prestige Tuning.
This car is very well set up for track, has plenty of supporting mods for reliability and has had a lot of development over the years to allow it to run 300-340kw Atw lap after lap and temps to stay perfect!
This is a very fun car to drive and it sounds amazing! Always gets comments at the track.
It has always been kept road legal and maintained to high standards. Authority card is required to keep it road legal, so any new owner will need a motorsport license to do so. Perfect to be able to take on a road drive when you can't get to the track, or better yet, as a Targa car!
In this car I have achieved many good results at street sprint event, lots of first in 4wd class, 4wd class season champion, and placing in the top 3 over all.
Best lap at Manfeild is a 1:14.28 on a 215 kumho slick. Running E50 blend (320kW).
