Street /Strip Hotrod
Description
When i purchased the Roadster approx 6 years ago my intention was to turn it back into a race car, I found i was having too much fun as a street car. I did make a few changes to suit my needs. I changed the diff gears from 3.25:1 - 4.55:1 as this was better for 1/4 mile with a 29 inch tall tire. I have a set of wheels with MT tires that are 33 inches tall which I swap for street driving, the car will come with the 3.25 gears (not installed) but the 33 inch tall tires can be negotiated for on top of the purchase price as are the 29 inch dot approved Hossier slicks (virtually brand new) and a Hilborn fuel injection system. Otherwise these 3 items will be sold separately or more likely kept. Originally the car was an altered built and raced by Ross Brown in the 80s. In 2011 it was converted into road legal car. Chev 355 10.2:1 compression, performance Edelbrock cam, alloy heads with 2.02 and 1.6 valves with stud girdle, electronic ignition, 600 Holley carb on an alloy single plane manifold, 360HP at rear wheels @ 6000 rpm. Power glide with 2500 stall converter. Strengthened 9 inch Ford 4.55:1 Tru-Tracker 31 spline head, full floating 31 to 35 spline axles, 4 bar suspension and coil over adjustable shocks. Sits on 15x15.5x29 Mickey Thompsons mounted on 15x12 Cragar Prostars, front has Hankooks on matching 15x6 Prostars. Roadster will be sold with rego and a new 12 month warrant of fitness I have done a very soft 11.7 @ 115MPH Not looking for any swaps Roadster is listed elsewhere so may be withdrawn I have added some photos of the roadster from its days on the drag strip, Cheers to the bloke who made these available to me.
