Hotrod project - 1930 Plymouth
Description
Due to life pressures, a lot of soul searching & a big dose of reality I have decided to part with my hot rod project. It’s a roof chopped & channeled 1930 Plymouth with a 313 Chrysler motor, push button auto box & Ford 9inch rear professionally narrowed by Flat Out Engineering. Original vin plate still attached to the firewall, & I have VTNZ paperwork confirming it’s a Canadian built right-hand drive 1930 Plymouth model U so compliance will be easier than a scratch built. New Kiwi Konnection early Ford disk brakes fitted to original front axle, new shocks & widened Plymouth Roadrunner steel wheels (6x15 front, 7x15 back) & original hubcaps. New underfloor 7inch brake booster & pedal assembly mounted, new wiring loom still in its box, new shocks & mounting kits, good original fuel tank, new aluminium radiator & electric fan, a 318 motor for spares which I bought for its 4 barrel carb & manifold as it can be bolted directly onto the engine in the car for a bit more get up & go! Original front suspension has been fully rebuilt & fitted with new kingpins. Radiator surround & dash from a 1920/30’s Buick as are the headlights (original Plymouth parts available if you want them instead). Front wings & wing braces are modified to sit lower & wider so the rear wings will need to be modified to match as will the running boards, that is of course if you want to run them! Lots of new & used parts included like seats, window garnishes, handbrake, propshaft with new UJ’s, various gasket sets, exhaust parts, new over screen wiper kit, brake lines plus the correct residual valves to run the underfloor booster, new electronic ignition kit, custom made steering column with turn signal module, custom made headlight bar & probably a lot of other bits & pieces which I have collected over the years & forgotten about, so pretty much everything you need to put together a running & driving car. Would make an awesome one-of-a-kind rat rod (it even comes with its own genuine spiders’ webs & barn dust), drag car or bad ass hot rod.
