1967 Elfin 400 Sports Car (BB67-4)
Description
An incredible opportunity to purchase an iconic piece of New Zealand Motor Racing History. Only 4 of these Elfin 400's were ever made in Melbourne Australia. Purchased new by Andy Buchanan who won the NZ Sports car championship in1967/68. Followed by Graham Harvey in 1968/69 & 1970/71. The current owner has owned it since 1980 and embarked on a total restoration during the last decade. A highly respected race car Engineer in Rotorua under took the massive task. A completely new Chev V8 was matched to the Hewland LG 500 transmission.
