Questions & Answers
What is the overall length of the truck, and when did it last have a service. How old are the tyres on the truck. TIA shelby24 (100 • 10:18 am, Wed, 8 Oct )Hi - thanks for your question. I can only partially answer the first 2 questions , the truck is not here today. I think the truck is 10.5 metres long but will measure when it is back and let you know. The only issue I ever had with the truck was getting a few punctures - my tyre man said it was from the older rims so some years ago I replaced all the rims and tyres with brand new. I would estimate this was maybe 10,000 kms ago - haven't had a puncture since and the tyres are in perfect nick. phillippasusan (0 • Wednesday, 8 October 2025 )Hi. Have you ever had any engine or rust issues and does it fit 4 large horses? Thank you. bellabach (2 • 5:51 pm, Wed, 8 Oct )There are no rust issues at all in the truck . I have never had a comment about rust on the COF reports. Similarly the truck has never had an engine issue in my travels around the north island ( furthest I have gone in it was to Arran Station, Waipukurau). Yes it does fit 4 horses - each space is roomy enough for a decent size horse , probably wouldn't want to put a giant in the back slot - the back slot is always more awkward as there is a smaller space for the horse to rotate into place. phillippasusan (0 • Wednesday, 8 October 2025 )I was wrong about the length of the truck - it is 9 metres long ( not 10.5 as per previous comment). The service sticker says another 3,000 kms to go till next service. Seller comment Saturday, 11 October 2025 Hi, any insulation? sunnymotueka (84 • 1:46 pm, Wed, 29 Oct )Hi there. The accommodation area is fully lined , sealed and insulated in the ceiling and walls. The crawl-through is also fully insulated for both noise and cold. The horse box area is fully lined and the ceiling is insulated but I don’t know if the walls have insulation in them. Thanks. phillippasusan (0 • Wednesday, 29 October 2025 )
