RACKSTUDS Series II 100-pack Purple Smart Rack Mounting System is a universal replacement for cage nuts used to mount IT, Pro A/V, Security, and Teleco equipment in 19" racks. Designed for rails 2.7-3.2mm thick, it features longer studs for easier hanging with thicker gear ears, a new nut with a PZ2 screwdriver slot and finger flutes, and a redesigned shape for easier insertion. It offers over 30% improvement in leverage tests and fits thicker rails while remaining backwards compatible with current nuts and washers.

Rackstuds insert from the front and install in seconds without tools, allowing a typical network switch installation in under 55 seconds. Made from Grivory, a metal replacement thermoplastic, they hold equipment up to 20kg (44lbs) and are non-conductive, posing no electrical threat. The purple version fits thicker vertical rails found in open frames and is tested to work in Chatsworth and Hergo racks.
