These titanium bolts are the favoured material for a fastener due to the attractive property of being a low-density metal, which has a higher tensile strength than many other materials, even in higher temperatures. Given this strength, titanium is remarkably light. When compared to steel in a strength-to-weight ratio, titanium is far superior, as it is as strong as steel but 45% lighter.
