Most aftermarket passenger car wheels come with a larger centre bore. These wheels generally require hub centric rings to centre the wheels perfectly on the factory hub lip. Without this, your wheels could shudder, shake and not sit right on the hub as they would from the factory.

Hub centric rings are manufactured so once installed on a vehicle, the wheels are located directly off of the centre flange of the hub. The result is a much truer, better balanced tyre/wheel assembly. This is very important with modern high tech suspension systems.
