-How? Simple! Remove the Hard Disk Drive (HDD) from the back of the nav unit and send it to us (we can help with instructions). Local? No problem, for $49 extra we can do the entire job for you.

-How long? we usually can do it the same day, and courier it straight back to you.

-What DOESN’T it do? NZ maps are not being adapted to this system as licensing costs are too high, and maps are too outdated. Google Maps is free and constantly up to date! The factory Bluetooth system doesn’t support audio streaming, just phone handsfree operation, but Aux input means you can still put your music into the system. Doesn’t convert the instrument cluster/speedo, this is a separate unit. Reversing guide lines (only the lines) on reverse camera screen disappear (NZ systems don't have these also). Radio still works completely fine with a band expander. Japanese only functions which do not work in NZ are disabled, including TV.
