Apologies for POOR Photographs - posters are in excellent condition - new
The T150 750cc triple was first introduced in USA in late 1968, 3 months before the Honda 4 750. With the sister A75 Rocket 3 the early models were not strong sellers so Triumph produced a 'beauty kit' for the dealers and distributors to fit. In 1970 only 287 Tridents were produced.
For 1971 the T150 had the new group forks, wheels/brakes plus indicators, with both USA tanks and larger UK tank options. A 5 speed gearbox was listed in the spares catalogue and the required 200 models were equipped and sold to the USA public for the Formula 750 race homologation.
By 1973 5 speed was standard, hence the T150V which also featured a disc front brake. The 1973 and 1974 Tridents were good sellers for the new Norton Villiers company but the workers blockade at Meridan created major parts supply problems. A government grant was used to design and produce new jigs at Small Heath to keep the Tridents rolling.
The T160 electric start Trident was released in 1975
This is a A2 poster, not a blown up magazine advert to an A4 or A3 size. Suitable for framing, block mounting. Would look great on the wall in your 'Man Cave' or Social MC Clubrooms
