Off Road Camping Trailer / Box Trailer

Off-road camping trailer, set up and used for camping but easily adapted to whatever you need.

The base is a professionally made boat trailer with a box built onto it. I bought it off an older guy who had been building it up over time, and I have carried on from there. It has an extra long drawbar, which makes a big difference. Handling on the highway is really good, and off road it is far easier to place and a lot more flexible.

What's on it:

Diesel heater mounted on the back. It functions and works well. I never got around to ducting it properly into the interior, so I have just been running flexible ducting through when using it. Easy job to finish off properly. Massive awning that wraps around the trailer Side tent that goes over the door, adds a good amount of extra covered area and storage Roof, floor and back wall insulated with foam insulation panels Solar powered extractor in the roof Floor and back wall carpeted No water gets in No rust Comes with 2 spare tyres, one is on a rim the other is not. Inside it easily fits a queen mattress, which is what we normally run, plus a bassinet alongside. I have taken it camping four or five times with a little baby and it was great having a solid, warm, comfortable place to put him.

WoF has just run out. I will get that sorted before sale.

So much better than a roof tent as it can be setup and left and leaves your vehicle free to be used.

This was always going to be an ongoing project and I had plans to kit it out properly, but we have decided to move to Australia, so it needs to go.
