This vehicle is an extremely reliable and well-cared for ex-ambulance which has been converted into a bed sitting room on wheels. It sleeps one in comfort, but the table and chairs can be folded and stowed away and a strong and comfortable second bed deployed and set in their place for a second person if required. Solar panels on the roof charge a deep cycle house battery to provide reliable 240 volt power for a toaster, computer, and other AC appliances. There is a small portable gas burner, and a good efficient electric fridge. No plumbing for a kitchen sink but there is a porta-potty behind a panel and curtain for privacy. There is plenty of distance left in the strong and ultra reliable 2.8 liter diesel motor to which a new cam belt and water pump has been fitted by top motor engineers Gold Coast Mechanical here in Kapiti.
