2004 Honda Jazz I

Letting go of my 2004 Honda Jazz I - a practical 5-seater hatchback that's been a reliable runabout but now it needs some work. It started making some noises in lower gears and my mechanic has diagnosed that it needs its manual gear box rebuilt or replaced.

This is an NZ new car, so it's spent its whole life here. It's served me well over the years, but it does need some attention now - hence the honest price. It's a good option if you're handy with a spanner or looking for a project that won't break the bank.

It's got a dent on the left hand passenger door (see photos) and there is a water leak in the tail light seal that we have been trying to track down.

The Jazz has a reputation for being economical to run and parts are easy to come by, which makes it a sensible choice even as a fixer-upper.

Prior to the gear box issue, it has been regularly serviced with a new wheel sensor installed last Nov.
