Description

Selling 1992 Toyota Hilux Ute. Rego on hold runs and drives well, to all the current watchers it has been brought to my attention that the Ute has had a engine swap and is a 3rz not the original 22R, there for it most likely would need a cert for the engine or engineers report. This is how I purchased the vehicle. I have removed all leading bids to update the auction. Any questions please ask. Will be selling aiwi buyer must pickup from Waiheke Island. Selling as parts Rego on hold

  • Do you have the paperwork from nzta for body swap ? Something is fishy here ofroader (72) • 7:00 pm, Tue, 21 Apr Has the 7AT tag and I'd tags is legal gets wofs regos no problem nothing fishy. A Hilux with only a 7AT tag (a VIN assigned by NZTA/entry certifier) and no stamped chassis typically indicates a re-VINing process, often due to previous rust damage, a chassis replacement, or an import inspection. The 7AT tag is valid for WOF, provided it matches the registration. svtcobra2k02 (231) • Tuesday, 21 April 2026
  • Should have a cert plate 2 for engine ofroader (72) • 7:01 pm, Tue, 21 Apr If your vehicle has been continuously registered in New Zealand since before 1/3/1999, the engine swap may be exempt from LVV certification, provided the modification was carried out prior to that date svtcobra2k02 (231) • Tuesday, 21 April 2026
