1959 Volkswagen Karmann Cabriolet
Description
1959 Low Light VW Karmann Ghia Cabriolet. Highly desirable collectible. Very rare worldwide.
Will consider VW trade ins/swaps.
Looks to have been restored in the USA in early 90's from what must have been a very very tidy clean beginning and still in good overall condition
I am in the process of fitting a standard front beam and front spindles to raise it back up to stock ride height. I have fitted whitewall tyres also Has a 1500cc engine (in the process of powdercoating tinware and detailing engine to appear stock for the period) with later model gearbox.
Has some cool period type accessories such as glovebox fitted 8 day Keinzle windup clock, locking shiftlever, red light on end of indicator switch, polished engine lid louvered inserts, exhaust "cheesegrater" between tailpipes, reverse light, wheel beauty rings, etc. I have more pictures if required.
Will be sold with 12 months registration and 6 month Warrant Of Fitness Happy to work with new owner on various options regarding engines gearbox wheels etc etc
