2016 ok so this is the model with the nickel coated bores that degrade and cause the engine to expire..... 299bnb (27) • 9:55 pm, Mon, 18 May

The 2016 engines were the first that were plasma coated. They weren't nickel coated like the previous engines. And regardless, I have been a dealer for 20 years and never heard of any issue related to your question regardless of year of ski. Thanks jfkjetski (890) • Monday, 18 May 2026
