*** A new remote has to be memorised into your security system for it to operate - this is called 'code learning'. The coding instructions can be found in your owners manual (or you can download from Mongoose website if yours is misplaced)

REMOTE CONTROL CODE LEARNING If you need to replace a remote control, it must be memorised to the alarm system before it can be used. a) Press the learning button on the side of the central locking module b) The indicators will light to confirm learning mode c) Press any remote button on 1st remote to learn it. d) Repeat ‘c’ for any other remotes.
