Estima camper

2007 Toyota Estima - originally a people mover with plenty of space and a reputation for getting the job done.

This one has the 2.4-litre petrol engine paired with an auto, making it straightforward to drive around town or on longer trips.

The Estima is known for being dependable, and this one has been no different. It runs well and handles everyday driving without fuss.

The layout inside has been set up as a commercial sleeper 'Dream Sleeper'. Everything works as expected. Fridge runs off the battery, lights,etc. Portaloo stored under slide out bed. We generally park near public toilets , or are staying at friends place so havent used it.

We purchased it as Covid struck NZ and the company foresaw the downturn in tourism and sold the majority of their fleet. Has been certified as self contained for two with blue sticker ( due to expire). About $1300 quoted for upgrade to obtain new certification. We are getting on in years and have only been using it as camper once or twice a year, so have decided to sell. Brand new tires, two weeks old!

It's covered a fair bit of distance, but it's been well looked after and still has plenty of life left in it. If you're after something reliable this could be a good option.
