1969 Chrysler Other Sport Satellite
Background check
Description
Decided to sell my 1969 Plymouth Sport Satellite I’ve owned it for about 2 years. Prior to coming to NZ it had a lot of work done (and spent a lot of $$$) by the previous owner of 10 years. He acquired it from the original family owners in southern Arizona and it has always been garaged since arriving in California.
Great patina and rust rust-free car, other than surface spots. Recently had a coat of gloss clear applied.
Specs include:
- Stock 440/727 from a 1967 Chrysler Imperial LeBaron with Schumacher motor mount
conversion. Edelbrock Performer intake and a Holley 4160 carb. - Electronic ignition conversion.
- 1969 correct HP exhaust manifolds.
- New alternator.
- Period dual exhaust system from AccurateLTD
- Bouchillon Performance power steering and kickdown.
- Transmission rebuilt along with a new torque convertor and new drive shaft.
- Radiator was redone.
- 489 3.23 sure-grip installed.
- Front suspension bushes new (everything from PST)
- Power front disk brake conversion.
- Bilstein shocks all around along with new Mopar Performance .92 torsion bars.
- 15 x 8 Magnum 500s and 235/60/15 tyres
- New Year One interior kit (all in RED) installed: front and rear seats, headliner, carpet, door panels, two new head rests, front seat foam.
- Fully complied & certed.
Car is solid and a pleasure to drive. Price drop as another car I have been following has come available. If your genuinely interested lets talk. Won't be responding to lame questions or comments. If you're a tyre kicker PO.
