This 2011 Fiat Abarth Esseesse is a sporty little hatchback that packs a punch with its 1.4-litre turbo petrol engine. I'm the third owner of this NZ new vehicle, which has proven to be both fun and practical.
Though small on the outside, the interior offers good space for a small hatchback, comfortably seating four. The manual gearbox makes for an engaging drive in all conditions, especially on open windy roads, but also in the city.
What makes this Esseesse special is the performance upgrades over the standard Abarth - more power, better brakes, and sportier handling. It's a modern take on Fiat's racing heritage, but in a practical package.
The car is in good working order with all systems working well. It has been reliable and well maintained during my ownership.
