2007 Ford Transit

Its time to sell our Transit, it has been great and has served us well. Originally used as a school bus, we bought it mid 2022 and converted it to a camper. Since then it has been used for many great weekends away and also a full tour around the North and South Islands.

Perfect for families with a couple of kids as it still has 5x seats (full 3-point seabelts so can be used with carseats as well), a short double bed in the back - its easy to just pitch a small tent for the kids.

The vehicle is self contained until Oct 2026. It has under bed storage (drawer front side) as well as a kitchenette and more under bed storage at the back.

The 2.4-litre diesel engine is known for its reliability and good fuel economy, paired with a manual gearbox for easy control. I picked this model transit as my employer has a fleet of them - one being a year older than this one and has just ticked over 500,000kms and it still goes great!

Being NZ new with just two previous owners shows it's been well looked after. We obtained 5 years service history from the previous owners upon purchase and have only had to maintain since we have owned.

It comes fitted with a tow bar, making it more useful when you need to transport both people and gear for fishing, tramping, camping, kayaking, a boat or horse trailer! The Transit provides good headroom and comfort with the strength you'd expect from Ford's trusted workhorse.
