NZ new 2013 Mazda 6 GLX 2.2 diesel wagon, bought in 2020 and owned by my partner and me since. Ex-lease company car originally, then private ownership. Used as a daily around Wellington with occasional Wellington–Auckland trips. Always garaged, very easy and comfortable to drive.
In 2021 Capital City Mazda fitted a new genuine Mazda 2.2L diesel engine. The chassis has 178,550 km, and the replacement engine has only around 20,000 km on it. All receipts and service records are available. Great buying compared with other 2013 Mazda 6 diesels as you get a later-model engine with much lower km than the chassis.

May I ask why it failed, what failed and what kind of warranty they’ve extended to you since replacing it? blade07 (86 • 8:23 pm, Sun, 11 JanWith the 2013 Mazda Diesels, there was a known issue with that model of engine, oil pressure was lost, and that negatively affected engine wear. Engine replacement was through Capital City Mazda, with receipts. The car has run like a dream since. No warranties on the engine.
