Description
Selling my 1973 Morris Mini, a tidy little classic that’s still running strong.
A complete restoration was done on it around 10 years ago with my father and I (I have included some photos from that period as well). It’s powered by an 1100cc engine that was already in the car when we purchased it, despite having "Mini 1000" badges. 4-speed rod-shift manual gearbox, giving that true old-school Mini driving feel.
Currently sitting at 261,000kms on the body alone, not entirely sure what the milage is at now since the rebuild. But it’s been well looked after and still goes great. It’s in good overall condition — tidy body, nice interior, and mechanically sound.
It’s had disc brakes fitted on the front, which makes a big difference in drivability and safety compared to the old drum setup.
No known issues, has a current rego but doesn’t have a current WOF at the moment. I’ll be getting one before it’s sold, so it’ll be ready to drive away.
A great little car for anyone who loves classic Minis or wants something fun and unique to cruise around in.
