1977 Vauxhall Other Chevette Racecar

PRICE REDUCED Sadly it is time to sell my beloved Vauxhall Chevette classic racecar,rally car Built by Chevette guru Tony Lynch, full HS body kit. Was built as circuit car but currently set up for sprints, and hillclimbs. Started life as gravel car back in early 2000s, has been racecar for nearly 25yrs. Shell is very solid and straight. Engine: freshly rebuild Vauxhall C20XE, JRE head, QED 450 cams, 12.5:1 forged pistons, steel rods, drysump, new steel light flywheel, helix clutch, twin 45s, Link Atom ECU. 170bhp at wheels. Gearbox: new Quaife Professional straight cut type 9 gearbox. New Helix sinted 4 paddle clutch new clutch cable and rebuilt driveshaft. Done 5 events Axle: Hilux LSD 4 linked, 4.7:1 and 5.6:1 ratio. Quick rack Suspension bilstein with 3 different rate front spring Circuit, tarmac and gravel plus ride height spacers. Brakes: Wilwood pedal box and front calipers with Winmax pads New front tyres, rears half worn with plenty of life left Comes with drivers seat only as need co drivers seat(out of date but OK for clubsport) 2 sets of Hans compatable harnesses (in date). Comes with box of spare lights and other small parts. Another spare engine (std), nearly new Tony Law headers and some hotter cams etc. available by $ negotiation This car is great fun, easy to drive, never been crashed and is in very good condition. I have owned it for 4 years and it has been 100% reliable including finishing 2nd in class at one day Targa Nelson. I love her to bits but my other project needs my time and $. Would be perfect for new Classic All comer Saloon series. Realistic alternative to Ford Escort, Toyota Starlet ,other rwd classic Competitive car in right hands.
