2000 Volkswagen Beetle

This is Baby Beetle, she does 600km a day road trips, can do high speeds easily without skipping a beat, and has never left me stranded!

I have done 4k NZD worth of restoration, planned to keep it long term, but have now upgraded to something monstrous! :D

• Ordered personalised plates worth 300 NZD, same registration, just black plates with NZ fern design and have Euro surrounds with camera for front and back camera, have the parts, was planning on installing them once the plates arrive, should arrive in a week, so this car comes with front and reverse cameras, you just have to install them.

Work done in my 8 month/7000km of ownership:

• New Ignition coil, coil pack, new spark plugs, one comprehensive service, new gasket wall cover, new ignition leads.
• No mechanical issues or electrical issues whatsoever, everything works as it should!
• Heater works, doesn't blow cold air, 800NZD fix quote, pipe leak, was going to do it.
• Timing belt in excellent condition and has only run 30k km since replacement
• Clutch replaced 2 years ago, in excellent condition
• No oil leaks or burning oil

I've put in 8k NZD into this beetle,listing it for 5k to make it competitive, but open to reasonable offers.

Reason for selling : Have upgraded to a big blacked out butch all wheel drive truck that drinks fuel like redbull, gets wings and flies on and off roads! I'm a single guy who lives in the city & walks 500 m to work, has 2 cars and only does 30km a week, baby beetle needs to be driven more and needs a new home!
