2008 Volkswagen Polo

This has been a fantastic little runabout that's easy to drive, cheap to run, and perfect for nipping around town.

Smooth and effortless (if a little gutless) - great in traffic and surprisingly capable on long road trips. It's light on fuel, which has kept my running costs nice and low. Despite being compact on the outside (very easy parking!), there's plenty of room inside for passengers and a decent boot for the weekly shop.

The honest bit: Mechanically it's spot on - regularly serviced, and just passed its WoF with no issues. However, there are a few cosmetic things to mention: the radio console isn't working (though I'll throw in a working replacement unit for an offer over $5k), the roof lining has sagged a bit (pretty common with these Polos), there's a small chip in the windscreen, and a few minor scratches here and there that come with being a 2008 model.
