Finance was not explained properly. When given the form towards the end of purchases which asks you to sign to verify that everything was explained to you properly, I actually disagreed that anything had been explained to the sufficient extent I would have required to make an informed decision. However, since I needed the car I signed anyway. I would improve this process, perhaps giving more paperwork explaining everything in a bit more detail. Upon receiving private finance, I came into 2 cheap cars to complete purchase. They immediately offered to beat the rate I was given. Calculations for repayments were done on a phone and with pen and paper. There was no transparency with what was constituting the repayment amount without me prying this information out of the salesperson. Should invest in a system that allows this to be presented on a screen to the customer.
