Questions & Answers
Hey! hows the engine and gearbox? Any leaks, clutch or brake wear, suspension/steering issues, or electrical/mechanical faults I should know about before bidding? would you also happen to have the service history available? alana12345678 (4 • 9:13 pm, Sat, 25 Oct )Hi there, the engine and gearbox seem to be in good condition. No strange crunches, whines or knocks. It all appears to be in healthy working order but again we have not done a full inspection on the car and I would recommend viewing before placing a bid. There is some service history to come with the car :) swiftkyle (31 • Saturday, 25 October 2025 )Hi is there any rust on the car? wdh268 (28 • 3:55 pm, Sat, 1 Nov )Hi there, we haven’t found any visible rust at a glance but again we’ve not done a full inspection of the vehicle and given the age of the vehicle there could be areas with rust. I would recommend viewing the car before bidding swiftkyle (31 • Saturday, 1 November 2025 )hi there has the timing belt being done just recently has it please panicmechanix (373 • 6:25 pm, Tue, 4 Nov )Hi there, based on the sticker in the engine bay it looks like it’s due at 241,000. I believe these cam belts are due every 120,000km for these engines so it was likely done at 121,000km. I would advise viewing the vehicle to confirm for yourself before you place a bid. We haven’t done a full inspection of this car and it may require further maintenance swiftkyle (31 • Tuesday, 4 November 2025 )
