No! There are no fees when buying with Afterpay – provided instalments are paid on time. Late payment fees apply.

Which card types are accepted?
NZ-issued Visa and Mastercard credit and debit cards. Overseas issued card aren't accepted. Afterpay doesn't accept American Express, Diners, Q Card and Prezzy card at this time.
Is Afterpay safe and secure?
Afterpay is a PCI DSS Level 1 certified compliant Service Provider organisation, which is the highest level of security in the payment industry.
How much can I spend with Afterpay?
Afterpay set individual credit limits which can change over time, based on things like your account history. The maximum transaction value on Trade Me is $2,000.
Does Buyer Protection apply to Afterpay listings?
Yes! Buyer Protection is also available when you pay with Ping. Terms and exclusions apply.

How do refunds work with Afterpay?
Refunds can be processed by the seller, or by Trade Me in the case of a Buyer Protection refund. Refunds are then managed by Afterpay. If there are instalments outstanding, you'll be refunded what you've paid. For partial refunds, your payment schedule will be adjusted.
Is Afterpay available for all categories?
No. Afterpay is available on Marketplace general items only. In some categories the buyer is required to have a feedback rating of at least two to use Afterpay. In addition, some Marketplace categories are permanently restricted from Afterpay.
