Auctions closing delays
We apologise for the delays in auctions closing this morning between 7am and 11am. The technical problem has been resolved, and all auctions affected are in the process of being closed.
Scheduled maintenance
Trade Me will be unavailable from approximately 5:45 am to 6:15 am on Friday the 3rd of March for scheduled maintenance and upgrades.
All auctions closing between 5:40 am and 6:40 am will be extended by one hour.
We apologise in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.
Changes to auction withdrawal process
From Wednesday 8 March withdrawing any auction will incur a minimum $2 withdrawal fee. By placing a listing on Trade Me you are making a commitment to sell the item through Trade Me and withdrawing an auction before it is due to close frustrates potential bidders.
You will no longer be able to withdraw auctions less than one hour before they close, this is to minimise the disappointment caused to potential bidders.
Category changes
We will making a number of category changes across the site today. If your item was listed in any of the categories that have been removed, you will be prompted to choose a different category when relisting. All of the other auction details including your photo will be carried over. If you have any feedback, please use the contact us link.
