Services now on Trade Me
We’ve just launched our new Services category! That means you can easily search for local businesses, and also write reviews about the ones you’ve hired.

Thanks heaps to everyone who took the time to click a vote for a Trade Me site in the 2010 People's Choice NetGuide Web Awards.
Brendon (Trade Me Property), Pete (Trade Me Jobs) and Terry (Trade Me) were all on deck at the flash awards ceremony in Auckland, and each of our three Trade Me musketeers ended up with a little yellow NetGuide cube to look after on the night. We've put them in pride of place in the foyer at Trade Me HQ.

Browsers and Operating Systems: July 2010
Daniel is one of our developers - not only does he help bring new features, he also compiles these web browsing and operating system stats for us to look over. You can follow him on Twitter over here.
Since we last looked at our browser stats, we’ve seen Internet Explorer 6 creep down another percentage point to 4%, but Internet Explorer 8 gained one to 33%. Meanwhile Chrome and Firefox 3.6 usage has also increased, up one per cent each.
On the operating system side, both Windows XP and Windows Vista continued their steady decline, only to be shown up by Windows 7 which was up three points to 16%. More...
