Small update to our listing policies
From 1 November, we'll be making a small update to our listing policies.
This change will mean that sellers listing in the ‘Electronics and photography’ category may only have one listing per identical item.
Sellers that list variations of an otherwise identical item, such as different colours or sizes, will need to use Multi Variant Listings (MVL) unless they've received prior written approval from us to create separate listings.
Payment delays over Labour Day weekend
Due to the upcoming Labour Day holiday, there’ll be a delay in processing payments to your Trade Me account made by phone or internet banking.
If you pay by these methods, payments made after 10:00 pm on Friday 19 October will not be processed until Wednesday 24 October.
If you top up by credit or debit card, your payment will be processed instantly. More...
Upcoming price change for Trade Me Jobs
From 1 November 2018, the price to purchase a casual job listing will increase from $179 + GST ($205.85 incl. GST) to $195 + GST ($224.25 incl. GST).
The price of Branding will increase from $33.00 + GST ($37.95 incl. GST) to $35.00 + GST (40.25 incl. GST). Adding a Feature to your listing will also increase from $99 + GST ($113.85 incl. GST) to $109 + GST ($125.35 incl. GST).
Over the past year we’ve made a bunch of improvements for both advertisers and job hunters. We launched Job Profile as well as a CV builder for job hunters, increased investment in advertising and promotions to bring in new candidates, and are about to launch an applicant tracking system to streamline the hiring process. Job Pack terms and conditions change
We're making some changes to our Job Pack terms and conditions to include our new job listing feature 'Promoted Listing'.
The changes will take effect from Thursday 25 October 2018.
