Customer Support availability changes

From 2 June 2018, our Customer Support team will be available between 6am and midnight, 7 days a week, and will no longer be in the office 24/7.

We're making this change so more of us can be there to help when it's needed most.

We'll be updating the site over the next week to reflect this change, and if you have any questions, please feel free to get in touch.

Payment delays over Queen’s Birthday weekend

Due to the upcoming Queen’s Birthday holiday, there’ll be a delay in processing payments to your Trade Me account made by phone or internet banking.

If you pay by these methods, payments made after 10:00 pm on Friday 1 June will not be processed until Wednesday 6 June.

If you top up by credit or debit card, your payment will be processed instantly. More...

Issue with push notifications

We've just discovered an issue that was affecting push notifications over the weekend and into this morning. Certain notifications wouldn't have been received during this time, including 'auction closing', 'you've been outbid', 'question answered', and 'question asked'.

This has now been fixed, and push notifications should be working as normal.

We're sorry for any trouble caused.

Scheduled maintenance

Trade Me will be unavailable on Saturday, 26 May between 2am and 5am for scheduled maintenance. All auctions that are due to close between 2am and 5am will be extended by four hours. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.

Scheduled outage: Courier Post

Courier Post won't be available through our 'Book a courier' service between 5pm Saturday 26 May, and 6am Sunday 27 May, due to some scheduled system maintenance.

Fastway couriers will still be available for bookings, if your pick up is an urban address.

Couriers booked before this time are unaffected and will go ahead as normal, however you may not be able to view the booking info for Courier Post packages during this time. More...
