Now that we’ve welcomed LifeDirect to the Trade Me family (and can now refer to them as a ‘wholly owned subsidiary’), we’ve tweaked our terms and conditions to include the new business within the services Trade Me offers. Check them out, and as always, let us know if you have any questions.

Trade Me seals the LifeDirect deal

Written by The Trade Me team in General at 9:30am, Mon 9 Sep 2013

Last month we announced a conditional deal to buy LifeDirect, a cool Wellington-based company that helps Kiwis compare and buy life and health insurance online. This deal has now been finalised and we’d like to welcome all the team at LifeDirect to Trade Me.

LifeDirect aligns with Trade Me’s core purpose of connecting two parties to undertake a transaction by providing consumers with a single online venue to compare insurance products easily and efficiently. It also has a sloth called Simon as its mascot.
