Phishing Email

Overnight a spoof email was sent out to some of our members stating to be for “Trade Me Security Checks”. The email requested members confirm their login and credit card details. This email was not sent by Trade Me.

If you have already clicked on this email and entered your details please contact us immediately. If you have not entered your details, simply delete the email.

Scheduled Maintenance

Trade Me is going to be unavailable between 2am and 5am tomorrow morning for scheduled maintenance and upgrades. All auctions that are due to close between 2am and 6am will be extended by four hours.
We apologise in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.

Trade Me Property app for iPhone released

Last month we released our official Property iOS app for the iPad. We’re happy to announce that you can now download an iPhone-friendly version through the Apple App store.

The Trade Me Property app’s streamlined interface makes it easy to browse through available properties on the site. Features include the ability to:

- Save searches as favourites and run them whenever you like
- Create open Home calendar entries
- Contact agents directly from the app More...

Site Issue This Morning

We had an issue this morning between 10:10am and 10:30am that caused the site to be slow or unavailable. We have now resolved the issue and have extended all auctions that were due to close between 10:10am and 10:45am by one hour.

We apologise for the inconvenience.

CanTeen Bandanna Challenge

Kev the kiwi has his bandanna tied tight for the CanTeen Bandanna Challenge, which runs for the next two weeks.

The bandanna is a symbol of hope and courage for the thousands of young New Zealanders living with cancer. Between 14 – 30 September, CanTeen sells specially-designed bandannas that you can pick up from major retailers, community groups, in shopping malls and on the streets.
